Chick provides an array of packing services aimed at streamlining our customers’ manufacturing processes and reducing their production overhead. We can perform these services anywhere the customer requires them, including in seamless integration with their own manufacturing or assembly lines.

On-Site and Off-Site Packing
At Chick we will perform packing work at our plants, at a customer’s sites or at some other location. While the majority of our work consists of recurring production-line activities, we are also heavily involved in the “project” segment of our business, providing one-time or repeating project support to customers in the US and overseas.

Container Loading and Unloading
Chick also provides a full range of container-related services: loading and unloading, stripping, empties management and stowing, truck reloading, container depot administration and other activities related to the handling of containerized goods. We can load individual items (boats, vehicles, etc.) or entire shipments of goods. Chick can provide photo-documentation and other forms of post-transit condition analyses. We can also provide cross-docking, pick-and-pack and other fulfillment services.

Chick’s IT systems include multi-platform applications for tracking containerized goods down to the individual unit or part in a box. Our systems can handle 1D and 2D bar coding, RFID tagging and support track-and-trace applications as well. At any stage of the storage, transfer or delivery process,Chick can provide detailed tracking reports to customers online, via email or directly into their own IT systems.

Clean Room Packing
Recognizing the specific needs of companies that manufacture such highly sensitive products as computer circuit boards or medical diagnostic equipment, Chick can dismantle machinery or assembly lines, apply films to mirrored surface finishes, perform wipe down procedures and bag items in multiple barriers as required.
